Bhubaneswar: Biju Janta Dal president and Chief Minister Naveen Patanik on Monday appointed 18 senior women leaders as district In-charges of the party.
The women will monitor the organisational work in the allotted districts.
While Lopamudra Buxipatra was entrusted the charge for Keonjhar, Geeta Basita appointed for Gajapati and Ganjam, Kasturi Mahapatra for Puri and Khurda or Bhubaneswar, Urmilata Das for Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj, Prabhasini Sarangi for Cuttack, Jyoti Panigrahi for Jharsuguda and Sundergarh, Snigdha Panigrahi for Rayagada and Nawarangpur, Nibedita Mohanty for Koraput and Malkangiri and Kunjalata Samal for Nayagarh districtr.
Similarly, Puspanjali Rana for Angul and Deogarh and Dehenkanal, Minati Debata for Sambalpur or Bargarh, Bharati Singh for Balasore, Sarojini Raj for Bolangir and Sonepur and Sanghamitra Dalei for Khandhamal and Boudh district.
