Bhubaneswar :  In a major development, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik directed the district administrations to handover unutilised government properties to Mission Shakti Mahasanghs in the State here on Thursday.

As large number of government properties i.e. buildings, shops, ponds are lying vacant and have not been used to carry out any developmental activities , therefore to make the best use of those places the district administration should allot them to the Mission Shakti Mahasanghs functioning at different levels within two months, said CM while addressing a virtual meeting.

Further, the Mission Shakti Mahasanghs will utilize such government properties, thereby helping women self help groups (SHGs) in the State to get benefitted socially and economically, he added.
