Bhubaneswar: A -18- year old Odia girl Swastika Senapati sets an example by winning National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA), Ames Space Settlement Design Contest 2019.
The budding scientist is the resident of the Khatiguda area of Nabarangpur district of Odisha.
Swastika is currently studying in class IX at Rabindra Bharati School in Vishakhapatnam and her father Pradeep Senapati is a businessman, since childhood she has a lot of interest in the field of science and innovation. According to her father, “She is on her way to achieve her dreams and in the future, she would bring more laurels to the state.”
NASA has invited her to visit their facilities in the USA from May 20 to 28 in the year 2020.
