Bhubaneswar : Rashmita Sahu comes from an industrial family and the family has long established a brand of loyalty by trading spices in the state and the country under the Ruchi spice brand.

Rashmita has acquired the technology of making pasta from Switzerland to take this league forward. After special training from the Central Food Technology Research Institute in Mysore, Karnataka, she later became the Managing Director of Om Oil & Flour Mills Ltd.

“After my studies, I devoted myself to the research and development of Ruchi Masala,” she says. At the time, I was focusing on women’s empowerment and self-help groups (SHHGGs). A few years later, it was decided to form an organization for frozen food. So I traveled to Germany and Switzerland with my father and Dr. Ruchi, the founder of Ruchi, to visit Germany and inspect the technology and components, said Rashmita Sahu.

The frozen foods include baked goods, frozen biryani and mutton vegetables. In the coming days, the company will launch a product called “Farm B” with a variety of grains, said Rashmita .

As a result of Rashmita’s efforts to take the business to new heights, the company’s dividend was multiplied in a matter of days. Rashmita has received more than 14 awards, including the Times Business Leadership Award, the Pride of Nation Excellence Award, the Odisha Business Award and the State Business Award.
