Bhubaneswar: In a matter of pride, Seema Dhaka, the head constable of Delhi Police, has become the first lady constable to get a premature promotion within three months under the new incentive scheme for rescuing 76 missing children.
Delhi Police has issued a statement saying that Seema Dhaka, posted at Samaypur Badli Police Station (PS Samaypur Badali) in North Delhi, has become the first policeman to get the out-of-turn promotion.
On August 5, Police Commissioner SN Srivastava encouraged the police camp to find missing children in the capital and hand them over to their parents.
During this time, he promised them to give the progress of out of turn i.e. out of promotion to the policemen who completed the work soon.
According to the announcement by Commissioner SN Shrivastav, any constable or head constable will be given an out-of-turn promotion after finding at least 50 children below 14 years of age within one year.
Further, police have said that after this order, a tremendous change has been seen in the process of search and recovery of missing children. Many children have been traced since August 2020. This has also brought back the happiness of the unhappy families and these young children have also been saved from their misuse and exploitation.
